I want to throw my shoe at the television. I am watching Obama on Cspan. Mr. Change.gov is talking about changing the way we handled the last 8 years of health care, and "American families."
I guess he doesn't give a shit about my family. Exhibit A-Z: Choosing Rick Warren to give his invocation at his inauguration. Mr. Anti-Equal rights will be giving the big ole Christian prayer on January 20Th. Mr. Prop 8. Mr. I don't give a shit if you cannot PURCHASE health care for your partner come this summer.
Change DOT More Bullshit.

See, this is why I wasn't swinging from the rafters when Obama won. Yes I am SO happy because the alternative didn't seem like the right direction for us as a country. But what really is going to change? CHANGE the word is so vague. Everyone is running around singing Change is Here! Change is Here! But no one has any specifics as to what said change is. Change is an empty and hollow word.
Let's recall that Obama and Biden are AGAINST gay marriage. Not for it. This is why I was confuses too: The entire gay population is like GO OBAMA. And yes, I know bec. the alternative party option is crazy. BUT Obama and Biden really have no interest in helping us and our families. And I venture to say that we are merely tolerated.
At least I feel the few rights we do have won't be taken away from us.
And can I also say that I am tired of hearing "Let it come from the people" bullshit. Really? Civil Rights? voted on by the people??? Change indeed.
Someone needs to step in there, be bold and do the right thing, even if it pisses people off.
